early 2007 after leaving Microsoft Corporation, where he served in several positions since 2001. |
| In Microsoft's Enterprise & Partner Group
(EPG), Ron supported the company's worldwide sales force as Competitive Strategy Manager, producing sales tools and ammunition to advance Microsoft products in enterprise scenarios against competitors such as Oracle, IBM and various Linux-focused companies. On Microsoft's Communications Sector team, Ron was Senior Product Manager for the company's Connected Services Framework product, enabling the world's largest telecommunications providers, mobile operators, and hosting companies to combine web services into exciting new offerings for wireless, fixed-line, consumer and business customers. |
| Prior to his Microsoft career, Ron built
several software ventures, including e-Sell®
Commerce Systems (sold to RMI in 1998), which produced one of the earliest Internet storefront software packages for small businesses to conduct online transactions, and Application Methods, Inc., which produced components, tools, launch demos and sample applications for software-industry clients such as Netscape, Borland, Symantec, Microsoft and others.
